WHAT TO EXPECT

Walk-ins

While most patients are seen via scheduled appointments, we do allow walk-in visits. Walk-ins are seen from 9-10 am and 2-3 pm on a first come first served basis. We ask that you call before coming to the office so we can begin preparing for your visit.

Arrival

Upon entering the front door, our receptionists will greet you and your pet while checking you in. After checking in, have a seat in our lobby while you briefly wait to enter your pet’s exam room. (You may call from the parking lot to check in if you prefer to wait in your car.)

Medical History

Once in the exam room, a veterinary assistant will come in to get a weight, temperature and thorough medical history. If you bring a fecal sample with you (We love when you bring poop!) this is the time to give it to the assistant.

Exam

Next, a veterinarian will come into the room and go over the medical history while performing a thorough head-to-tail exam of your pet. The veterinarian will then discuss the next steps in the diagnostic and treatment plan. After diagnostics are performed, we will go over the diagnostics and medications required for treatment.

Wrap-up

Next, a team member will come into the room to discuss and schedule follow-up appointments. They will also process payment at this time.
